A permanent biogas digester will be installed next week to move us one step closer to independence from outside fossil fuel sources.  We will use cow dung and food waste to fuel the conversion to usable gas for cooking, water heating, and lamp lighting.  Anyone who can help with the construction including pouring concrete, setting forms, etc should contact Druva Prabhu @527-4101 or This email address is being protected from spambots. A new membership program will be inaugurated at The Ratha Yatra festival.  We are inviting all our well wishers to make a commitment to support us through the long, cold winter by signing up for a membership.  There will be several levels to choose from with different benefit packages.  Please talk to Madhukari Prabhu, Drhuva Prabhu, or Snana yatra das for more information.
An auction will take place during the entertainment phase of the festival.  Maha Prasad from Sri Sri Radha Damodar will be offered to the devotees to take home.  Many unique one of a kind items will be presented.

Week in review:
Visitors - His Holiness Devamrita Swami is hosting devotees from Toronto, Canada and Philadelphia who are involved in His urban preaching program to bring new devotees to Krishna Consciousness. Mangala Arti Prabhu has been working with him to carry out this project.  We have been enlivened by their enthusiasm and dedication to pushing forward Srila Prabhupada's mission in the west.
A group of Sankirtan devotees traveling with the Warp Tour stopped at Gita Nagari Wednesday to charge their batteries.  They joined the Temple devotees and guests from Toronto and Philly for Srimad Bhagavatam class given by HH Devamrita Swami and followed by ecstatic kirtan lead by Maharaj.  We sent them off with fresh pancakes made by the urban preaching devotees.
