Jhulan Yatra celebrated at Gita Nagari.
The devotees gathered in great anticipation to participate in the Swing Festival at Gita Nagari.  Perhaps this is the only place where Their Lordships travel into the forest in the association of ecstatic devotees to manifest Jhulan Yatra.  How fortunate are the great devotees who worship Sri Sri Radha Damodara.  This amazing festival will be happening every morning this week at 8am.  Please join us in relishing The Lord's pastimes. 
Donations Needed - The Deity Kitchen has requested donations of the following articles:
  • Dried Basil
  • Powered coriander
  • Basmati rice
  • Split mung dhal
  • Buckwheat flour
  • Whole wheat flour
  • Ekadasi hing
  • Pink salt
  • Coconut oil
  • Nuts(cashews, walnuts, almonds)
  • Dried fruits(Turkish apricots, dates, pineapple(no oil or sugar added), raisins
  • Hot pad holders
  • Dish towels
Balaram's Appearance - will be celebrated this Saturday, August 29th.  Class will begin at 10 amfollowed by Kirtan, Arati, and a feast to break our half day fast at 1pm.  Please join us for this ecstatic celebration.
Book Distribution - Madhukari Prabhu and Krishna Kumara Prabhu will travel to New Jersey this week to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books.  Please pray for their well being on the road.  Druva Prabhu will drive to deliver milk products to be used in the Abisheka for the new Deities in New Jersey.  Cow protection means milk production, and Gita Nagari is committed to sharing the opulence of Sri Sri Radha Damodar with the city temples.  This is one way to bring Prabhupada's vision of farm and city cooperation into reality.  Adopt a cow and you can help us with this mission.
